General
What is Dublyo?
Dublyo is a Platform-as-a-Service that makes it easy to deploy and manage web applications on your own cloud servers. No DevOps experience required.
How is Dublyo different from Heroku or Vercel?
Unlike shared hosting platforms, Dublyo deploys to dedicated cloud servers you control. That will add better performance for cheapest price, and predictable pricing.
Do I need Docker experience?
No. Dublyo handles all containerization automatically. Templates are pre-configured, and GitHub deployments auto-detect your framework.
Billing & Credits
How much does it cost?
Dublyo uses a credit system. 1 credit = $0.01. Server costs range from ~$10/month (Starter) to ~$70/month (Performance). Pay only for what you use.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Your servers will continue running during a grace period (varies by plan). You'll receive low-credit warnings so you can top up before any interruption.
Can I get a refund?
Unused credits remain in your account and don't expire. Contact support for billing issues.
Why is there a processing fee on top-ups?
PayPal charges transaction fees. We pass these through at cost with no markup.
Servers
How long does it take to create a server?
Usually 2-3 minutes. You'll see the status change from Provisioning to Running.
Can I SSH into my server?
No, for security you wont get ssh access. We dont store any SSH keys or root password for your app security.
Can I run multiple apps on one server?
Absolutely. A Starter server can run 3-5 lightweight apps comfortably. See our guide on running multiple apps.
What happens to my data if I delete a server?
All data is permanently destroyed. Back up important data before deletion.
Deployments
Which frameworks are supported?
Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, PHP, Java, static sites, and any Dockerized application. GitHub deploy auto-detects most frameworks.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes! Add a custom domain with automatic SSL via Let's Encrypt. See our custom domains guide.
How do automatic deployments work?
Push to your connected GitHub branch and Dublyo automatically rebuilds and deploys your app via webhooks.
