How Credits Work

Dublyo uses a simple credit-based billing system. 1 credit = $0.01. That's it — no complex pricing tiers, no hidden multipliers.

Credits are deducted hourly for each running server based on its size. When you stop a server, billing stops immediately. There are no per-app charges — you can run as many apps as your server can handle.

It's a simple, pay-as-you-go model. You only pay for the server time you actually use.

Example: A Starter server costs ~3 credits/hour. That's about $0.03/hour or ~$21.60/month if running 24/7. Run it for 10 hours a day? You'll pay roughly $9/month.

Plans

Dublyo offers four plans to fit every stage of your project — from side projects to production workloads. Every plan includes access to the full platform.

PlanPriceCredits/moTop-upsSupport
Free$0/mo01 lifetime top-upBasic
Regular$10/mo1,000UnlimitedStandard
Pro$25/mo2,700UnlimitedPriority
Enterprise$70/mo7,500UnlimitedDedicated
Tip: The Pro plan gives you the best value per credit — 2,700 credits for $25 works out to ~$0.0093 per credit instead of the standard $0.01.

All paid plans are billed monthly via PayPal. Credits from your plan are added to your balance at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits roll over as long as your subscription is active.

Adding Credits

Need more credits beyond your plan? Top up your balance anytime via PayPal. Top-ups range from $5 to $1,000 and are processed instantly.

Processing Fee

Each top-up includes a small processing fee to cover PayPal transaction costs:

Fee = (amount x 4.99%) + $0.49

For example, a $10 top-up has a fee of $0.999, so you'd pay $10.999 total and receive 1,000 credits.

Bonus Tiers

Larger top-ups come with bonus credits as a thank-you for your commitment:

Top-up AmountBonusTotal Credits
$5 - $49No bonus500 - 4,900
$50+5% bonus5,250+
$100+10% bonus11,000+
$250+15% bonus28,750+
$500+20% bonus60,000+
Tip: A $100 top-up gives you 11,000 credits (10% bonus) — enough to run a Starter server for over 5 months.
Free plan note: Users on the Free plan are limited to 1 lifetime top-up. Upgrade to any paid plan for unlimited top-ups.

Usage Tracking

Your dashboard gives you full visibility into how your credits are being used. No surprises, no hidden charges.

Dashboard Overview

The billing section of your dashboard shows three key metrics at a glance:

  • Current balance — your total available credits right now
  • Daily burn rate — how many credits you're using per day based on running servers
  • Estimated days remaining — how long your current balance will last at the current burn rate

Transaction History

Every credit movement is logged and visible in your transaction history. This includes:

  • Hourly server charges
  • Top-up deposits
  • Monthly plan credit additions
  • Bonus credit awards
Tip: Check your billing page regularly to understand your spending patterns. The estimated days remaining helps you plan top-ups before you run out.

Server Costs

Server costs depend on the type of server you choose. Here's a breakdown of the hourly and monthly costs for each server type:

Server TypeInternal IDHourly CostMonthly Cost
StarterCX22~3 credits/hr~$21.60/mo
StandardCX32~6 credits/hr~$43.20/mo
PerformanceCX42~12 credits/hr~$86.40/mo

Monthly costs assume the server runs 24/7 for a full month (720 hours). If you stop your server overnight or on weekends, your actual cost will be lower.

Tip: You can run multiple apps on a single server at no extra cost. A Starter server can comfortably handle 1-2 apps, while a Performance server can handle 5-10+.

Low Credit Warnings

Dublyo proactively warns you when your credit balance is getting low so you never get caught off guard.

How It Works

A warning banner appears across your dashboard when your balance drops below 100 credits. The banner shows your current balance and an estimate of how many hours of server time you have remaining at your current usage rate.

What Happens When Credits Run Out

If your balance reaches zero, your servers will enter a grace period based on your plan tier. During this time, servers continue running but you'll need to add credits to prevent them from being stopped.

1

Warning banner appears

When your balance drops below 100 credits, a banner appears on your dashboard with your remaining hours estimate

2

Top up your balance

Click the banner or go to Billing to add credits via PayPal or upgrade your plan

3

Stay ahead of depletion

Use the estimated days remaining on your dashboard to plan top-ups before you hit zero

Important: Keep an eye on your balance. If credits run out and the grace period expires, your running servers will be stopped automatically to prevent further charges.
